Whip 'Um (Part II of The
Accidental Trilogy:
a prequel/sequel to Accidental
Nostalgia)
premiered in January 2007 at the Walker
Art Center (Minneapolis, MN) and at St.
Ann's Warehouse (Brooklyn, NY). These opening performances
received rave reviews in publications including Variety,
The
New York Times, and Time
Out.
Must Don't Whip 'Um has also been performed at the Wexner
Center (April 2007 in Columbus, Ohio)
On
the Boards (May 2007 in Seattle, Washington);
the Philadelphia
Live Art Festival (September 2007); REDCAT (September 2007 in Los Angeles, California); and the
Carolina
Performing Arts Festival (November 2007).

Ann's Warehouse. Must Don't Whip 'Um was produced
by St.
Ann's Warehouse in collaboration with Accinosco
and co-commissioners including the Walker
Art Center, the Philadelphia
Live Arts Festival, and On
the Boards; and was funded in part through
grants from the Peter Jay Sharp Foundation, the Jonathan
Larson Performing Arts Foundation, NYSCA,
the Jerome
Foundation, the Greenwall
Foundation, the New York State Music Fund, and APAP Ensemble Theatre
